A person that I admire

Hi everyone. Today I want to talk about a person that I admire. This person is Henri Fayol, because he is an eminence in the field of public administration. Fayol was born in 1841 in Istanbul. His family returned to France in 1847, where Fayol graduated from the mining academy "École Nationale Supérieure des Mines" in Saint-Étienne in 1860. In 1916, Henri published an article about General and industrial administration (Administration industrielle et générale). This article after was know like Fayolism.
What is Fayolism? Is the first comprehensive statement of a general theory of management. He proposed that there were five primary functions of management and fourteen principles of management. Some of a principally books are Industrial and general administration (1930/translated in English) and General and industrial management (1949/translated in English).

I like Henri Fayol because he was a principal mind of Public Administration. The first time that I hear about him, was in “Introducción a la Gestión Pública” in Universidad de Chile. Also, he inspired biggest minds that follow in the same field, like Max Weber.
