Post 6 - Themed Post: Probity

Hello, today I will talk about probity, a topic closely related to our career, because it configures the behavior of public administrators in State organizations. Probity is the law of the administrative statute, which indicates that public officials must have an irreproachable behavior in the performance of their duties.

Why do I speak of probity? Because it is a subject that is always in public opinion in conjunction with corruption, which is opposed to each other, where corruption is the negative side of the behavior of officials within the State.

Public opinion is a very important point, because it is responsible for controlling state control. However, in recent years there have been many cases of corruption and probity, we have for example, the "MILICOGATE", "MOPGATE", and the police scandal that was seen last year, all these cases had a lack to the probity, given that the rules that exist within the State were violated.

I feel it is necessary to regulate this issue in Chile, because a public administration that has an unblemished operation generates greater confidence in citizens, which in turn causes their actions to be legitimate, thus giving greater acceptance to the acts that emanate from the State.

 As I said before, I hope it will be regulated soon, because it is unacceptable for it to run out of situations such as the lack of probity when handling the resources of all Chileans.
